Sara believes that each person is their expert and that therapy must be tailored to their unique situation, context, and needs. She is here to listen, learn, educate, and support. She provides individual and group-based therapy to those impacted by chronic & acute illnesses, including medical trauma; those grieving death- and non-death-related losses; and those experiencing chronic or acute anxiety. Sara welcomes clients across the gender and LGBTQIA2S+ spectrums and works from a body-positive, sex-positive, intersectional, strengths-based and trauma-informed lens. Sara is passionate about ensuring the folks she works with feel supported and empowered to live authentically and meaningfully. Through her own life experiences, Sara understands how isolating and debilitating grief can be and how scary and confusing it is to watch a loved one go through health challenges such as cancer, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s Disease. She provides a soft and open space for folks to explore deep issues related to physical and mental health problems, as well as grief & loss.
