Groups and workshops provide a supportive community where you can share experiences, gain diverse perspectives, learn practical skills, and find a sense of belonging. Our practice offers psycho-educational and therapeutic groups and workshops on various mental health topics. Our offerings are held virtually and in person within our community. The Motherload

Therapeutic Support Group

The Motherload is a therapeutic support group for women who are pregnant or in the postpartum period, with babies up to 2 years of age, to join us as we share evidence-based learning, engage in meaningful dialogue about the challenges of motherhood and offer a community of support and resources.
During our time together, we will explore the following: 

  • Making sense of the mess of motherhood 

  • Unpacking and giving voice to shame and guilt 

  • Understanding and fostering attachment to your child 

  • Psychoeducation for perinatal mental health and mood disorders

  • Strengthening inner resources to cope and manage

  • Honouring the self while transitioning into motherhood

The Parentload Workshop

Couples Edition
This psychoeducational workshop will provide information and explore:
  • Perinatal mood disorders for the birthing and non birthing partner
  • The mental and emotional load of the birthing parent
  • How to best support a birthing parent following birth and beyond
  • How to support your own mental health

 

Young Adult Divorce Club

This skill-based group will equip participants with tools to move through and beyond separation into a life truly worth living. There will be space to explore emotions and experiences associated with the end of a romantic relationships. 

This group is open to young adults residing in Ontario who are going through, or who have recently gone through a separation or divorce, including the end of a common-law marriage.
