About Our Mental Health Groups & Workshops
Groups and workshops provide a supportive community where you can share experiences, gain diverse perspectives, learn practical skills, and find a sense of belonging. Our practice offers psycho-educational and therapeutic groups and workshops on various mental health topics. Our offerings are held virtually and in person within our community. Therapeutic Support Group
The Motherload is a therapeutic support group for women who are pregnant or in the postpartum period, with babies up to 2 years of age, to join us as we share evidence-based learning, engage in meaningful dialogue about the challenges of motherhood and offer a community of support and resources.
During our time together, we will explore the following:
Making sense of the mess of motherhood
Unpacking and giving voice to shame and guilt
Understanding and fostering attachment to your child
Psychoeducation for perinatal mental health and mood disorders
Strengthening inner resources to cope and manage
Honouring the self while transitioning into motherhood
The Parentload Workshop
- Perinatal mood disorders for the birthing and non birthing partner
- The mental and emotional load of the birthing parent
- How to best support a birthing parent following birth and beyond
- How to support your own mental health
Young Adult Divorce Club
This skill-based group will equip participants with tools to move through and beyond separation into a life truly worth living. There will be space to explore emotions and experiences associated with the end of a romantic relationships.
This group is open to young adults residing in Ontario who are going through, or who have recently gone through a separation or divorce, including the end of a common-law marriage.
