Hi, I’m Laura.
If you’re here, it likely means you’ve been carrying more than anyone realizes—an invisible weight that comes with being a parent, a partner, a caregiver, or simply a human trying your best while life keeps shifting around you.
For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and families through some of the most tender, complicated, and transformative chapters of life. The people I work with often have one thing in common: they care deeply. Sometimes a little too deeply, to the point where they forget to extend that same care to themselves.
If you’re feeling stretched thin, you’re not alone.
Maybe you’re stepping into (or already knee-deep in) the transition to parenthood.
Maybe you’re juggling burnout, compassion fatigue, or the emotional exhaustion that comes from supporting others at work and at home.
Maybe old patterns—the ones you swore you’d never repeat—are resurfacing, and you’re trying to break intergenerational cycles while still functioning day-to-day.
Or maybe you’re simply looking around at your life thinking, “I should feel more fulfilled than this… so why don’t I?”
These are the moments I come into people’s lives.
My approach: collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care.
I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and perinatal mental health approaches to help clients understand their experiences, regulate their emotions, and make meaningful change. But more importantly, I show up with warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment. Because healing doesn’t happen when you feel evaluated; it happens when you feel understood.
I believe therapy works best when we work together—when we can explore your story, notice patterns you’ve developed to survive, and gently create space for something new.
For parents and parents-to-be: I’m right there with you.
The transition to parenthood can be beautiful… and brutally overwhelming. It can shake your identity, your relationships, and your sense of self. You might feel like you’re “supposed to know” how to do everything, yet internally feel lost or disconnected.
I hold space for all of it—the grief that comes with change, the pressure to do it all perfectly, the resentment that surprises you, and the love that feels both grounding and heavy at the same time.
Your story matters. Your emotional world matters. And you don’t have to navigate any of it alone.
If you’re ready to feel more balanced, supported, and connected—I’m here. Whether you’re healing from trauma, navigating perinatal mental health challenges, managing burnout, or trying to rewrite long-standing patterns, you deserve a place where you can exhale and be fully yourself.
Together, we’ll work toward a life that feels more aligned—one where your needs matter, your boundaries hold, and you feel more like you again.
I look forward to meeting you.
