Hi, I’m Leigh.

If you’ve landed here, you’re likely navigating a season with your child or teen that feels confusing, overwhelming, or just… a lot. Maybe mornings have become battles, emotions feel bigger than both of you can handle, or you’re seeing your child struggle socially, academically, or in ways you can’t quite put your finger on. You love your child fiercely — but that doesn’t make parenting any less hard.

With over twenty years in Social Work, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children, teens, and their families through all sorts of challenges. As a mom of two teenage boys myself, I don’t just understand these struggles professionally — I live the day-to-day reality of parenting in a world that seems to move faster than our kids can keep up with.

If your child is facing anxiety, attention difficulties, emotion regulation struggles, social challenges, ASD-related needs, or self-esteem issues, you’re not alone. And neither are they.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in real life. I draw on CBT, TF-CBT, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Collaborative Problem Solving — but more importantly, I tailor the work to your child and your family. I believe kids and teens thrive when they feel safe, understood, and seen for their strengths. I bring humour, warmth, and light-heartedness into my sessions to help young people open up, feel comfortable, and build trust.

Together, we’ll build a toolbox of skills your child can rely on when things get tough. Strategies that actually work in real-world moments like school stress, meltdowns, sibling tensions, friendship worries, and those unpredictable “big feelings” that seem to come out of nowhere.

Most importantly, we’ll work as a team. You know your child better than anyone, and your insight is essential. Parenting is hard. Growing up is harder. And you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I’m here to help your family find more ease, confidence, and connection, one step at a time.
