If you’ve landed here, chances are you’ve been carrying a lot for a long time. The stress no one sees, the self-doubt that creeps in at 2 a.m., the guilt that never seems to clock out, or the sense that you should be coping better than you are.
Hi, I’m Sam.
And you don’t need to have it all figured out to sit across from me.
My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that you bring so much more strength into the room than you realize. I create a space where you can be honest, messy, uncertain, and hopeful — all of it is welcome. Together, we explore not just what’s going wrong, but what’s already inside you that’s working, even if it feels faint right now.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve supported individuals, families, and groups through anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, burnout, identity shifts, and the emotional chaos that life transitions often bring. I work from a blend of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, and family-focused approaches , always at a pace that feels right for you.
I’m especially passionate about supporting women and mothers navigating the intense internal and external pressures that come with motherhood. As a mother myself, I understand how this season can stretch you in ways you didn’t expect, the joy, the confusion, the overwhelm, the constant renegotiation of who you are becoming. I also work with partners, helping couples understand each other more deeply as they move through the shifting roles and realities that come with building a family.
Whether you’re feeling disconnected from yourself, overwhelmed by the demands of life, stuck in old patterns, or longing for a steadier, more grounded way of being, I’ll walk alongside you with curiosity, respect, and zero judgment.
You don’t need to be “better” to come to therapy, you just need to be human.
And from there, we’ll work together to help you uncover your resilience, your clarity, and the version of you that feels most like home.
